OLD WIVES’ TAIL

THREE WISHES

Both plays were just wonderful!
— PMJ
The plays tonight were terrific, I loved everything about them - I was smiling the whole time.
— KM
Both of these shows were fantastic. I know our father, Tom Stephens, would be so pleased with the writing, the acting, and the directing. Thank you to PlayZoomers for honoring him in such a meaningful way.

Great tribute to Tom, who we dearly miss.
— AG
Brilliant scripts. Fabulous directing and performances.

Old Wives’ Tail

Written by John Busser
Directed by Doug Engalla

With Morris Schorr, Lyanna Liu, and Kristina Lloyd

An old man tells his granddaughter the real reason behind Grandma’s trip to the hospital... possibly.

Morry Schorr was the gold standard of Grampas - the right touch of irascibility and playfulness.
— JB
Kristina Lloyd brought such depth to her limited roles as Barbara. She could easily have been just a character that moved the plot only but she showed how much she cared for her family in just a few lines.
— JB
Lyanna Liu was just so darned adorable as Cassie. Her chemistry with Morrie was mesmerizing. It was a blast to watch her reactions to some of the outrageous stuff Grampa threw at her.

Three Wishes

Written by Dan Borengasser
Directed by Duchess Dale

With Omar Bah and Serena Roan

When a woman rubs an old oil lamp while cleaning, a belligerent genie appears, wanting to know her three wishes. She gets what she asked for, but the results are not what either of them expected.

Three Wishes was absolutely lovely - so touching and a lovely conversation between Leah and the Genie.
— MB
Nice to see a familiar tale turn the concept in on itself & get to see the story on the other side.
— NF
Engaging performances by Serena Roan and Omar Bah!
