On the Night of the Performance

Sign on early

If you sign on 15 minutes early, you will be able to see a pre-show video, with highlights of PlayZoomers past performances and a preview of the evening’s performances.

Enjoy the show

After the pre-show video, Producers Mary Ann Nichols Hubbard and Jan Carpman will welcome you with a short “curtain speech.” Then, the play or plays will begin. At the conclusion of each play, the directors and actors will introduce themselves in a brief curtain call.

Stay afterward

After the final play of the evening, there will be a Talkback with the playwrights, directors, and cast members. You can type questions and comments in the Q & A box.

Update Zoom! Reduce Demands on Your WiFi!

The clarity of your reception will depend on many factors, including the strength and speed of your WiFi connection and the number of WiFi users in your household. Make sure you’re using the most current version of Zoom on the device you use to watch the play.

Accessibility

PlayZoomers is committed to making our performances accessible. We are working on providing features for people with vision and hearing limitations.

Automated captioning is now available. At the bottom of your Zoom screen, you can click the box labeled "CC". You'll choose your language (English works best). Then you’ll be able to turn captions on or off. By clicking the little arrow next to the CC, you can even adjust the font size within “Caption Settings.”

Our playbills are accessible.

Our website offers accessibility features including user-selected adjustments to text size, contrast, text spacing, line height, and more.

If you need additional accessible features, please let us know.
